TL lamps are lit the lamp uses alternating current high voltage, has the advantages of brightness of the light better and lower power compared to incandescent lamps. If we are difficult to obtain an alternating current high voltage, then we can raise with the DC current source by switching with electronic circuits. Or by strengthening current output of the oscillator circuit and then the voltage is increased using a transformer.

 

Tube Lamp Using DC Current

 

 

The circuit in Figure 1 below is used for turning on the lights of TL using the accumulator. This circuits core is transistors 2N3055 and some components that work as an oscillator with feedback through L1. Operating frequency of this oscillator influenced by the value of R, C and L.

When the output from the collector oscillates, it will appear high potential difference at the end of L3. This circuit works on the condition, the polarity of the coil are as in Figure 1. One way to make a coil with the polarity of this is shown in Figure 2.

Point A is represented the polarity (doted) as shown in Figure 1. While B is the opposite polarity.
